After the March 11th Japanese earthquake and tsunami, I’d found that I’d lost a bit of my vigor in my writings about Japan. My other blog, Smashed and Sinking!!!, occasionally still deals with previous humor writing in regards to Japan, but I find myself with less and less to joke about that others haven’t already covered. When I find unique angles or stories on Japan/Asia, they’ll probably still sneak into S&S (In fact, the “General Asia” theme might be more and more of what you see there soon).
This blog is somewhere where I can just write whatever’s coming through at a given moment and given time. It’ll be random and completely without much rhyme or reason, more of an excuse to flesh out ideas and writings that don’t fit under Smashed and Sinking’s banner.
It all needed a place, so that place in here.
